Oh I'm sure it can't be that bad! Unless you used to be a Black or Brown belt before in which case it's probably devastating. Twisted Evil Laughing

Well I went to the practice games for the first time in a long time. I worked on my Bob's 27 drill, and after a few tries and getting frustrated, I started all over for the 4th time and scored an 805. Man this drill can really do things to your head. It will be another long time before I try this one again.

Nice darts there, still trying to break the 500 barrier, like you say is very frustrating, but at the minute I have been trying to improve the BHRTW it is the one I am furthest down on as such and still not been bettered from when I reset my scores.

    I noticed I made a mistake on my Bob's 27 score. I posted I had a 805, when it was a 705. Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed

Now I am going to have to try and reach that mark. Mad Mad Mad

I have been going to this site for info & tips since it was dartplayer.net. I finally joined last week. I decided to only use high scores i have gotten since then to see how i am doing now. WOW... I have alot of work to do, i started near the top of yellow belt at 196. I will have orange belt by weekend Twisted Evil and it will be fun to see how fast i can climb. Thank you for rejuvinating my practice and giving me the motivation i sorely need.

    Hello all!

I'm new to the world of darts and recently joined this site. I was wondering how I practice the games listed and all the other ins and outs of what to do to become a top ranked player. Any and all help would be appreciated.

That thread explains how to use the practice games Smile

Welcome to the site Smile You'll find tons of information all over the place so I'll encourage you to browse around the forums and get familiar with them. As you do you'll find places set aside to ask about darts and equipment as well as practice and strategy Smile

We also have 'Flight School' which is a great place to learn about improving your game.

My initial advice (beyond getting to know the forums) is to hit the board often! and then some Smile Get friends to play and find local pubs which have darts where you can play pick up games Smile Always try to find tougher opponents, until there aren't anymore Smile

Cheers and welcome to the site.

Only 300??? Heck, even lately with little time to play, I've been known to throw 700 just playing one game a few times. Laughing

Back when I used to practice a LOT I wouldn't even want to guess how many I threw... Shocked

Yeah within the last few days my arm got loose and Im throwing alot more.
I noticed some just play certain games, how does that affect the overall average?
Just curious, I still have a long way to go.

New high in Bob's 27:) After a 2 year hiatus due to the wonderful dartitis...finally able to throw somewhat. Teaching my GF some practice games last night and decided to show her Bob's (can't remember the last time I threw a round).

We've been getting whooped in league...mainly because of double trouble. Seemed like the perfect game.

Threw a couple incomplete rounds...then boom...295. Had to look up my previous best this morning.....nice surprise.

May try some other practice games as well and see where my skillset is really at.....pretty sure it's way off of where I was
