just was wondering how many of you would actually play a local LOD tourney if ALL games were played on a Eclips pro trainer board? (or simular)....I personally would love to play as i have one at home at use it regularly..

Now i know some people nay find the trainer board a bit deceiving but really after a few shots, i find no difference in this to the regular boards, yes it may be a bit harder but if you just focus on the task at hand.. the size of the T and D really dont matter

So woudl you play with this or not?

I voted yes, because Id relish the challenge. I dont know how many others would, especially as most struggle to hit any target anyway Laughing

My vote is yes. That is what I practice on at home. It sharpens ones skills and I think it would make people concentrate more. Cool Cool Cool

I voted Yes cuz we've done that here before. We got together about 14 players and two of the trainer boards to see what it would be like - it was alot of fun!

Why not. I would just for the fact everyone else is shooting on them too. Theres no advantage or disadvantage in my mind.

Thas what i thought, some people find the trainer boards a bit decieving but really, if everyone is playiing on it.. why would it be, just play your game, if your a Top wire hitter then your in trouble but if you can hit the center of the trips then your still a-ok!

Thinking of running a top line tourney with them, will consider this some more!

I don't think it is a good idea for shooters that are just starting out, or are really just getting their 'dart legs'. The game is frustrating enough. I think it would be a negative.

Actually I think that this could go either way. We often have "smurf dart" tournaments around here. We use those little wee mini darts. As long as people went in with the mindset that it CAN be fun .. and the tournament was advertised properly you may be surprised at how many of the new shooters/average player show up.
