Dave is really sick so we came back early. In know Darren Won yesterday's singles. Bill Bell and Wid won doubles. Carolyn Mars beat Stacy Bromberg in the women's Cricket singles.

I am waiting to hear about the 501 today. Mawson showed up yesterday late to be ready to play today. Should be a good event. Points really matter in this one.

Had the pleasure to see may SEWA faces. The more times you see the faces, to more friendly they get. (That may be because of an alcohol variable too!!) It really adds to the tournament experience to be a SEWA member. I had breakfast with Carolyn Mars and I think I convinced her to check it out. SEWA definitely has a presence.

I wish I could name everyone I saw. Roxxy, thanks for the lingerie compliment. Tom, thanks for the late night walk down memory lane. Sweets, Tommy, Goodie, MR. PDL, Usual Chaos, etc., great to see you all!!!

I also got a worm this time, but am still a Club Spin-Spoc-SpinConnor virgin. Never found that one. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Finally, in my humble opinion, this tournament was very well run. Events started on time. Early registration for ALL events was a great idea. Everyone was friendly. No smoking is a perk for me. So, to SEWA member Bull and all who ran the tournament,

THANK YOU!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hi all, Met a few SEWA people up in the mountains.
DougM knew who I was as soon as I asked if he was DougM. Was it the Red Sox hat Doug? Mustang was there and always with a smile on her face. Also saw and chatted breifly with Bobcat.
As for some of the big guns I chatted with Darin Young, Stacey Bromberg, Johnny K, Ray Carver, Tommy Curtain, Marrilyn Popp,Isen Veljec and Jim Widmayer. Jim Widmayer Was awesome. I chatted and had a few beers with him as he warmed up with a freind of mine. Super nice guy.
Now for the games I played in.
Open singles Friday night. Lost in the third round to a guy that somehow beat Ray C.
Later on Friday night Draw Doubles. Got a kid who only played one week in league and this was his first tourney. We made it 4 or 5 rounds(too many cherry bombs and rum and cokes) and placed top 16.
Saturday played mens doubles. Drew Isen Veljec and Bob Adamson first round. Lost both corks to Isen. We played 501 and lost 2 straight. We had 32 left both times. See how important the bulls are.
Next I played Saturday night draw or also known as Pajama Darts. I drew Connie Curtain(Tommy Curtains wife) and another great hottie named Heather. We shot awesome and made it 4 rounds. We placed in the top 16.
Sunday played mixed triples and played Johnny K, Ray Carver and Marrilyn Popp. Well we lost 2 staight. We were off by 80 in the first game and got smoked in the second.
I had a great time. Many rum and cokes and cherry bombs. Ill be back next year.

Was a great match to score as well, well played by both Bob and Johnny K

My son Kyle chalked nearly all of Dave's matches on Saturday, takes me back to the days when I was doing the same for Dave, Larry and Jerry. I think he made close to $50 this weekend Chalking matches

Winner Winner chicken Dinner. Smitty180 (& partners) win the Pajama Darts Trips Event. Unfortuantely I had to beat my wife Kim in the final, which took place promptly at 330 AM... I had nothing at all left for Sunday...took forever driving home too
Speaking of Sunday, my son Kyle and my daughter shot in the youth events. Kyle shot with Tommy Curtin and Brittany shot with Carolyn Mars.
Winner Winner chicken Dinner. Kyle and Tommy win the event that included Johnny K, Darin Young, Ray Carver, Tom Sawyer and of course Carolyn. Great shooting by all of the youths as well as the Adults.

And DougM, can you please keep it down over there? Jeez...

Well Peg, bring 'em to the draw then! Can't be any worse than the one you sent to my phone, my wife still isn't speaking to me.

Usualchaos, thanks for the offer but no thanks. I gave up that habit close to 5 years ago now, but couldn't help but wonder what it was. Considering my *ahem* expertise in the field it's rare that I have no clue what a concoction like that is.

The only thing cherries should be marinated in is Whiskey and Sweet Vermouth. Add ice for a minute or so and then drain into a martini glass and call me! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Hey - Does anyone have the Sunday results?? I am curious about the 01 singles and Trips.

By the way, I did finish top four in the women's on Saturday. It was my best finish to date. I don't mean to brag, but I am so excited. I jokingly said to Dave - "I now have A! D! O! points!" He wasn't impressed. Rolling Eyes

I do believe the Trips were won by Darin, Gary and Stacy, I left after I lost in the Singles, Saturday night wiped me completely OUT!
