So I've been working on my throw a bit lately while trying to improve my consistency which appears to be my main issue (and maybe always has been) as I can throw plenty of 180's etc in the day but often do not follow them with big scores (never hit them back to back for example) and I'm missing too many into the 5's.

I've noticed that when really concentrating on my follow through it appears that I'm throwing my hand right at the 5's when I hit them. I may also hit the 20's and seem to be following through to the 5's but all in all I think this is my main issue. I also noticed that my first dart (which is often in the trips) has the best follow through and my second tends to wander so I'm now working on forcing myself to repeat the first dart follow through on all three. It's weird as I'm not throwing as well doing that but it is hard to teach and old jarhead new tricks Wink

In general I can't expect to see results from a new form adjustment for quite some time. I wouldn't be concerned you're not seeing the results yet. Sounds like it's worth continuing with.

Not really a change so much as paying more attention to follow through than I was. The results appear to be more consistent groups and scoring. I'm scoring in the low 130's in 100@20's regularly and if history is any indicator I should see a nice pop into the 140's or 150's soon since I normally can shoot about 20 points above my average on a good day.
