They are currently being sold in 22g and 24g only but if the initial batch does well then they will become more widely available and will be made also in 26g and possibly other weights.

Flights are also available at a pretty decent price -- this is a new flight design.

IF the flights do well then I imagine we'll see a new world design available also Smile

I hope everyone at least goes and checks them out at Red Dragon to show support for the site!

I've also put up a link on the main page to make it easier and more prominent.

Thanks UC. Of course I love them, but I'm hoping you all find the same thing I did and some others who've had a crack at them: that is, that you find them awesome too! Smile

These darts are really the culmination of over 30 years of playing and wanting something better (on my part) and the genius of Jeff Pickup (original darts I had made to my specs) and Lee Huxtable over at NODOR who took my prototypes and made them even better with NODOR Tungsten Smile

Had just seen these on my regular haunting post Christmas sales, and thought I'd pop back over here and have a hunt to see what the story was, good to see you come up with a deal.

Been a while since I have been on here but looks like the cookie issue got sorted.

Look forward to seeing reports on these.

All issues sorted as far as I know Smile

Hope everyone reports back on their darts! I'd love to hear your feedback and see who's picked up a set.

And THANKS! for supporting the site! After all, buying a set of darts or even the flights will help support our site.

Got my SEWA darts when they first came out. Got 2 sets of 22g and Fitted storm points into them (Fit is not quite flush but fine for me - less than 1mm lip).

They are great darts, essentially the same as the Red Dragon Fusions i use but without the scallop. Think i may even use them in my game tonight they're that good!

Awesome!!! Smile I'm glad you like them. I'm pretty stoked to see them out there to be honest and love to hear from all of those who get them.

    Thanks!

I've asked Neil from D16 if he'd do a review for me and am waiting on word back (unless someone else would like to?).

In US dollars they run about $28 plus shipping which takes 1 set without any other items to around $40 after shipping I believe. If you go to Red Dragons site you can select the darts and then go to check out and without actually checking out put in your country to ship to (in this case the USA) and it will add the shipping. I then take the total and google pounds to dollars conversion to get my totals.

    Cheers
    Erik

Eric that sounds great. Let me know if it happens. I'm really interested but I'm not sure they will work for me. I currently use 22 g chizzy. Also, after I sent my post I found an app. For the IPad for currency exchange.

    Hey Erik,

Most pictures I see seem to be showing longer shafts and larger flights. How 'bout short shafts and pear flights? Would the dart work with those?

Yep Smile Biggy (a friend of mine who only sometimes pops in now here at SEWA) uses a set of the originals with shorter shafts and smaller flights.

Soft tips are out now Smile

Amazon turn around is about 10-12 days I believe though I've heard shorter times. The Amazon sales are actually still through Red Dragon just done in US exchange and shipping etc. It's actually pretty fast surprisingly.

Just received my SEWA 28g darts today, and wow, do these darts feel good in my hand. The balance is perfect, the grip is perfect, and I love the look. I couldn't wait to try them out, and when I did, the excitement grew. Where were these darts 23 years ago. I'm back to being a trip machine. I threw 5 games of cricket and averaged 15 darts per game. I then threw 5 games of 501, SI, DO, and averaged 18 darts per game, with a 12 , and 13 darter in there. I could go on, and on, but I want to get back to throwing.

Erik, I want to thank you for having 28g darts made, as I liked the 24g SEWA darts, but they were just a bit light for me. I can't thank you enough for these darts.

    Glad you like them Smile

Of course, now my secret's out! LOL

Have to thank all those who bought these darts because without them we wouldn't have been able to make the 28's!

So thank you everyone who has a set!

Well, took my SEWA darts to their first tournament. The following were the results.

    Mixed Doubles, 1st

    Men's Singles, 2nd

    Open Doubles Top 4

I have the 28 gm SEWA darts, and as I stated back in January, these are some fantastic darts. They have great balance, I love they way they feel in my hand, and the grip is perfect. Yes, it did take me a while to get out and use them, but trust me, it was worth the wait. Can't wait until the Cape Cod Open in September. If anyone is thinking about trying new darts, I highly recommend you get a set of SEWA darts. You won't be disappointed.

Wow, that is a steal for as good as these darts are. I'm surprised they stay on the shelf. These darts are worth 4 times that much.
