DT, I think I have two (2) more points than I should have at this point. I think you gave me credit for MvG in the first round, and I don't believe that is correct.

I hate to give up two points, but my integrity is worth more than a set of darts.

I think you got an extra point for MvG when you should not have, I'll fix it on tomorrows posting. Thanks for pointing it out!

Painter v. Part could have gone either way, but Painter just seemed to let the pressure get to him a bit more than Part. Now your chances are looking really good! Hope that doesn't jinx you!

I could be looking at live by Part, die by Part if the history of his WC wins holds true with the Painter match.

Did anyone find a vid or pic of the Part walkon with Darth Vader? Love to see it if you do

I did worse at this than I normally do with the NCAA bracket where I just guess, lol.

Good luck to those in the running. I'm rooting for more great games, not any particular winner. It's been a fantastic world championship.

I found Nicholson's performance very disappointing... he spouts off about being the "World Champion" someday, but he really should just show up and play his best game.... I'm thinking he did not take this match seriously. Despite a poor start, MvG gave Whitlock all he could handle, coming back from 3-0 down. Whitlock won it, but MvG's fightback was impressive.

Interesting matches today! Many hopes were dashed when Gary Anderson was beaten by Simon Whitlock but his win made ABA's chances at winning much stronger. While on the other hand Robert Smith would edge out KeyserSoze with a victory by James Wade. The interesting thing is that no one selected Lewis as the winner in this tournament. The one really cool thing I can say about the Taylor loss is that Hamilton has a chance to showcase his skills at the top level of the game.

    Possible 135
    ABA 97 (two active finalist)
    Kopralph 11 91
    BigMo 78
    Trainerr77 76
    Wire 75
Robert Smith 71(has a player picked to win that is still active)
    Art 71
    Gordon Dixon 67
KeyserSoze62 (has a player picked to win that is still active)
    DJ Sayer 47
    LukeK 62

    No longer have active players:
    Charis 67
    GT 65
    Joe_39 57
    Dart_Talker 56
    hickories 55
    Cannibal 47

Not a huge deal, but Wade is no longer highlighted and should be, I picked him to beat John Part correctly.

Just at a glance, the Wade/Whit match could decide this chase between me and Kop right now.

If you look in the Round #4 column you will see that both Lewis and Wade earned 8 points each for you, and are highlighted in yellow. I did get a bit ahead of myself in taking the color off Wade in round #5, but you picked Lewis to defeat Wade which means Wade has no further ability to earn points, and Lewis is still highlighted in that round.

... between you Kop and Robert Smith...

If Lewis wins his next match you win.
because no one else would have a player left to earn points for them

If Whitlock wins the Championship you win:
You would earn 48 points and no one else could match your point total.

If Wade wins the Championship Robert Smith wins:
that would give Robert Smith 48 more points and the win with 119 points
    Kop would have 117 points
You would have 113 points (if Whitlock beats Hamilton)

If Hamilton wins the Championship, but Wade beats Lewis then Kop wins,
    Kop - 107
    ABA - 97
    RS - 87

    Still a rather interesting contest!

I think that's the way it will workout unless I screwed up somewhere along the way.

Good luck to you all and please everyone double check my totals and let me know if you find any errors.

Ah now it makes sense..would be nice to finish it off in the semi's, but should Adrian lose I'd have to have Simon win it.

Hamilton wins it 6-5 in an 11th set decider! Well done to Hamilton! Now it's all down to Wade v. Lewis! Game ON! Cool

Play resumed after about a 8 min interruption because of breeze on stage.

Interesting, not sure if it got stopped a 2nd time or the PDC site was slow as hell but it last showed 4-1 Wade and now 6-5 Adrian.

Frickin Whitlock drove me ballistic today..1 game from winning it.

There was a big controversy about a draft blowing across the stage. Lewis stopped the leg and got Wade to agree to the stop the match until the issue was resolve. After leaving and returning to the stage a couple of times and consultation with PDC officials Lewis and Wade consented to play out the match. Wade came back for the delay strong and looked to be the sure winner, but Lewis fought back. Wade did have one dart at a double to win and missed. Lewis tied the match and went on to win it.

Either Erik or myself will post something soon! I hope everyone enjoyed the contest, and are getting themselves prepared for another contest during the Premier League.

Congrats to ABA and all others that finished in the running.

Thanks to DT for running this and Erik for having this great forum.

Looking forward to the Premier League contest (and trivia...). Smile Just kidding on the trivia.
