I think this one might be streaming on PDC TV only. I could be wrong, but I don't think there's SKY coverage of it.

I'm glad to be wrong as my PDC.TV subscription ran out last month. Looking forward to it.

JP will play against Roland Scholten in the third round tomorrow.

You can the draw now find here on my site:
    http://www.globaldarts.de/globalDartsEN/turniere/Turniere2011/Bolton2011/ukOpen2011.php#day_2

I was a little bit faster then Dave Allen. Wink ... But he's interrupted all the time.

Part did well and got past Scholten, but to bad we did not get to see any of it. I was most surprised by Lewis getting knocked out at such an early stage.

But today John lost - I've no idea why. He had six darts for the win and all missed...

What an unbelievable match between Taylor and Nicholson. And what nerves from Nicholson to hit the winning double.
The match between Chisnall and Bowley on the other board took a very long break till Taylor/Nicholson was over.

And in the end James Wade really managed to win it again!!! So might be he's really back now?

He defeated in the final Wes Newton who was not really happy about it but James Wade is much more experienced what probably helped in the end.
Even more unhappy probably were the two losing semifinalists Denis Ovens and Mark Webster...
It was the second time Ovens lost in the semi-final. He played a great tournament but Wes Newton just was too much for him while the semifinal between Wade and Webster was a rather close affair. It ended 10:9 for Wade.

I wrote a few short articles about the tournament you can find on my website:
    http://www.globaldarts.de/globalDartsEN/misc/articles/A%20Question%20of%20Weight.html

    http://www.globaldarts.de/globalDartsEN/misc/articles/The%20first%20evening.html

    http://www.globaldarts.de/globalDartsEN/misc/articles/Rebuilding.html

The last one I'll post when I am back home.

Glad for Wade - in light of his recent statement on his mental health, I am very happy for him and a better story could not have been written.

    Well done.

.....I would also like to say well done to my dear friend Mark Hylton who had a nice run at this event!

Good job, Wade! I wish I could have seen more of his match against Nicholson but the video seems messed up. Am I the only one who thinks that Taylor didn't really throw well until Nicholson pushed him?

Nope, you are not the only one... Taylor has not been at his best for a while now, but he still seems to have that desire to win that carries him along way. He really did put up a fight towards the end of the match, but it was too little too late.
