    So generally during practice I focus on removing body movement, specifically the dreaded lunge. However during competitive play I try to remove all critical thoughts from my play. As a result I will catch myself lunging a bit.

    Any idea how to remove this flaw from my game?

    Remind yourself not to lunge, but never ever criticize or beat yourself up for it.
    Think of how you would talk to a very small child that you were trying to encourage.
