Quite a few though they don't always make it obvious when they post perhaps.

In fact, I'm working on coming out with a SEWA Soft Tip dart because I think there are a LOT of folks here that play electronic darts Wink

humm cant wait to see they design that you come up with for them. The only thing that matters to me is the barrel design as I always put fit flight backend on them.

Same barrel as the steel dart though I may ask them to drop to 80% tungsten so I can keep the size up. Same tapers too etc.

I started in soft tip but haven't played in years. Am thinking of getting back in to it, now that Dartslive is growing in my area. I will always prefer steel but, ironically, most of the best players here were originally softtippers. (I'm not one of them but know them from when softtip was huge here.)

im just the opposite as I never got to try steel out and everyone plays soft.
I currently play with some very good soft tip players and they never play steel either. I have two friends that I play with over 4mpr and about 6 or so about mid 3's. we defiantly get some good games in and tourneys

It will be intersting to see what you come up with. I have never used anything below 90% tungsen but might give them a try.I currently use Ray Carver sig 18

The purpose for lower tungsten is merely to lower the weight of the dart while retaining some physical size. For me a dart CAN be too small so I have to adjust tungsten to match the size.

That's the reason for 90% or 95% tungsten darts too by the way, to make smaller darts of a higher weight -- that's the only reason.

The SEWA dart is 85% tungsten intentionally Wink which, by the way, also keeps the price down (nice side effect)...so, with the soft tip version to come out in 18g I'll need to shave 6g off my dart and one way I can do that is to lower the tungsten content. Of course the tip will help too but the dart will still have to be smaller.

I understand that complelty. I agree darts can be too small. " i switched from m-3 darts" becuase they felt too small.
lol when you get them all set and need a soft tip tester I know a guy lol.
Cant wait to try them out . If nothing else they will be a set for people that come over
