I pose this question to all concerned, and even to those on the outside looking in. What we have is an ever dwindling amount of Super A players, or those who would like to give Super A a try. We have the same problem every season with forcing teams to play out of their element, making for a very unpleasant season, with all the complaining.
So what is best for us, as Super A, and A players and teams alike? I would like to hear everyone's solutions, or comments.

I chose B. Make it 1 division, with travel. It not only keeps the league from forcing teams up, and possibly losing them, which the league can ill afford. And it gives the S.A. players what they want. The best competition available to them, which is said by all, that is what they want.

I know it is to late to implement thi9s for the fall season, but if A teams that are being forced up, know this will end after the fall season, and those forced up, will be allowed back in A, it may keep teams from breaking up, or leaving. Just My opinion.

    What do others think?

While as an AD I hate "forcing" anyone to do something, IMO the fact is that there will come a time when teams will have to move up out of the division they are in as long as one exists above where they are. Just my 2 cents. I always tell people, if the worst happens (that is, you come in last), there is no reason I can't move you down next season even if you have the same team if that is what you really want. Should anyone ask why this one or that one is in blah blah division "his team came in last the season before, why not"

Rob, you can't go with a central location. You would be taking business away from to many long time sponsors. If you want to play the best possible competition, this is the only way I see it happening. Everyone travels to the different venues once, and play those teams at home once. If players don't want this, than they really can't say they want to play the best. This is a viable way to do so, and the only way to do so, that I can see.

Ronny came up with a few good suggestions, like a draft, for one, but was shot down. So all I am trying to do, is come up with a way to play the best, without forcing teams to break up, or forcing A teams to play out of their element.

I voted D. That's what the board is there for. I'm sick of the drama and just want to play darts anywhere anytime against anybody. We've got a great drama free team. Where ever the schedule tells us to go, we'll be there. Whether it's to fight for every point with the 9 or M.T. Or to smash someone like T.C's crew. Opps, did I say that out loud? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Based on the fact that last season there were 4 teams in each area and the season before there were 6, the key word here is "AREA"..To blow this up totally and to make it basically a "traveling" Super A players need to be given notice so that they can make their own descions before commiting to a team that "knows" its going to travel..

BOD should just decide...don't let us choose...it doesn't work.Just decide and stick to it.Kirby is right we as players should know what we are signing up for.

Paul, that's why I posted this poll. This isn't for the fall season, this is for future seasons. It's to late to start this in the fall.

I know that Franko, and its a fair poll, I think its crazy that with 3 weeks to go till opening night we don't even have a clue as to who's playing who,Whereas if the old division system was in place it would be settled..Too many loopholes for people to escape or not show up,then jump to wherever they want and that goes for all the divisions..thanx Dwalsh Wink

I voted D...The BOD has a job to do. The problem is us "elitists" tend to try and force their hand. Maybe we should all take a collective step back and let the BOD do its thing. It worked for 30+ years, why can't it work now?

A and C are the same answer. What difference does it make if SA goes down to A or A gets forced up to SA?? It doesn't!

As far as B (the travel route) We all know how this won't work. Too many teams too far from each other. I understand that it's "only once here or once there" but come on now. I know if you want competition EVERY week it's the only way, but not everyone will deal with the travel to do it. Only in the playoffs.

Also, IMO, if the travel thing did ever get off the ground, I think it would take something away from the playoff atmosphere that we truly live for. I believe some of the anticipation would dissolve...just my opinion.

I voted for travel. The best competition would be realized from 8 (or more) teams forming in the state and traveling to everyones home bars twice per season.
