Thanks everyone -- my gut told me years ago to keep politics out.

Seems you feel the same way my gut does -- for those who'd like to see politics maybe we can do something else -- if you're really interested.

Time to shut down the politics once and for all me thinks.

    Much appreciated. Thank you.

Other than being the best darts website around, I have bragged about SEWA in other forums because of 1) the rules, and 2) how well-moderated it is. Allowing politics into this site is a recipe for disaster and I hope that those who want to talk politics will go to one of the multitude of sites designed for that. All that we need is for people to 1) stop posting political threads, and 2) the moderators to sincerely uphold the rules (which has not been the case far too many times) when they do post political threads. If people feel that they are being censored, then they aren't in the right forum to begin with.

Darts, darts, darts, darts, darts, darts, darts, darts!

And I'm part of the problem -- so my apologies! I love to debate politics and no matter how hard I try I always find I'm back debated again...somebody slap me Razz

No harm no foul -- it's a close race at this point but I think it is still in the best interest of SEWA to not have politics -- perhaps pats view is a better place and I could bring it back...besides I'm much better behaved these days I think Wink

    24 hours -- 17-14 in favor of the 'NO's.

I've decided to go with my gut and keep the 'no politics' rule.

    Thanks everyone
