OK, so Shot Darts was awesome enough to send me another set of darts to play around with and tell you about and I have to admit, I love that So thanks for reading and commenting on all my review posts! It really helps and heck I give away all these great darts in the end anyway so as long as these reviews get some attention, I'll keep giving away darts but I have to admit, it's getting hard with these sweet Shot's! (pun intended). I picked up the Shot Viking Hammers and tossed them at the board and within just a few tosses I hit this. OK, I know, it's not a 180 but darn it if that last dart wasn't the T1! COME ON! I really let that one drift away but I have taken the summer off for the most part I moved them around the board and felt confident that I could play well with these. Not a deadeye but I'm an honest guy and I don't hit deadeyes every day! If I did I'd be a pro But what I can tell you is that the darts go where they are supposed to, as long as I actually toss them there (any error in trajectory is purely the fault of the throwee ) I was getting comfortable with these darts and despite the slightly different barrel than I'm used to I found myself thinking "ok, 180's are headed my way!" and that my friends is important in a dart. and then there it was A big fat 180 to top off the first session of playing with the Shot Viking Hammers. Heck, after a summer off I was thinking it might take longer to stick three in the 'Red Bit' but there it was. It was as if Shot just knew what to do in making a dart like this that would have the right grip, barrel shape and feel to go where you tell them too. Sure, the Rei's and Yu's are more my style of dart but this Hammer was definitely hammering away at good shots and I was feeling darn good about it. Today I pulled them out, tossed a few, set up my phone (no professional video here) and decided to throw a little. I was really interested in seeing my throw/form more than anything but then this happened (after a very short warmup) and I decided to share: So you see these really fly nicely through the air and into that Triple 20 like they were meant to do. These vikings are really quite nice and folks and I recommend giving them a try!
