It's been a struggle but I think I'm getting back on track a little.

Yes, had a rough go on the 3rd set of 30 but came on strong to finish. Just need to get back consistently in the mid 30's to be back to where I was before and then perhaps continue upward :) We shall see

Followed that with another 34 before having to break....so I felt good about it. Still not 'feeling' the positive confidence that comes with practice but at least the darts are starting to hit well. Lots of deflections but I know in time those are countered by stronger performance on the triples.

Since I noticed a lot of movement in my throw I've been working on reducing it. No more rock basically. This is a different style of throwing but it is starting to come to life for me. As you can see above I managed a decent 42 in my 2nd set of 30 but I was fighting it a bit before and definitely after! That's been the way lately with this new throw. I did throw a 180 earlier but was playing CCU.

What a struggle! Been working on my throw a LOT lately and I have seen movements of brilliance but most of the time I am fighing the 'two in the bed' crisis (or worse)...nothing feels right now LOL but I KNOW that since some of the time I am spot on and within 1/4 of the T20 bed I'm doing something right, then things just wander away....so ya, it's a struggle. Barely able to maintain 95-100 right now and hitting int he 80's too!

Whew! After several rough games I shifted back to my more normal throw and shot 98,99 and 106 so an improvement but man this is killing me. Here is my graph since I hit the 118 a while back...

Pretty rough when you are happy with anything over 100! LOL but it is what it is. I KNOW I can get back into the 130's but I also know it will take more work.

When I get tired, the first thing to go is the left/right accuracy...and here come the 1s/5s, mostly 5s. Good luck, Erik!

4000 darts later and I am seeing steady improvement but it's SLOW! No where near my previous max this year (136 or 137 can't remember and will have to look it up) but getting there slowly and seeing that it is indeed in reach :)

As you can see I had a hot day a while back and a few good games earlier but now I'm steadily hitting over 100 again...now to take that up a notch!

I must admit that I am tired today (two days in a row of being up around 4am) and my vision is blury so I'm not focusing well. This suggests to me I'll do better with sleep and better focus ;)

My quick game two nights ago made me laugh it was so bad. I couldn't stay in the 20's pie to save myself. Ended up with only 51! So that means I'm playing about 1/3 of my old potential (or I did during that game). Naturally, I can still beat most by shifting to 19's. I finished from 306 with seven darts last week (133, 133, D20). That said, I still miss the easy stroke into the T20's I used to have...

Of course, until I get my side-businesses completely up and running (online eCommerce stores and marketing sites), and money isn't a problem, darts isn't getting much priority or time.

If 19s are easy and 20s are hard, have you considered your elbow may be too low for the 20s? When I'm forcing it on the top half, that's almost invariably my problem. Elbow higher and easy stroke comes back. (Sometimes it's too much lean as well...but that's the same thing for me.)

Hmmmm....started off with a 102 today but felt good, then hit some int he hi9gh 90's despite phone interruptions, tanked into a 78 but was so close every throw I was surprised I wasn't hitting better. I just kept pegging the T1 and T5 right on the wire or bouncing off wires I KNEW it could have easily been over 100...then I hit 100. Good grouping, better than I have in a long time, so I know the results will soon show but for some reason I'm just off a little still.

I'm averaging 100 after 4800 darts which isn't great but considering where I was I'm 'ok' with this for now. I know I'm on the verge of breaking well above that now but just not seeing the results yet. I'll keep at it though as the throw is nicely smoothing out.

A little better. 17% of my darts missed the bed which is 100% better than in the recent past. Only 1 180 but overall I'm 'ok' with this and know it will continue to imrove

I should add that being 'ok' with it means I feel I am improving and starting to get back my throw etc....long way to go but not the same as fighting to release the damn dart etc and dealing with shoulder pain from the neck injury ;).....onward and upward!

Passed me up..... You ought to be able to improve on your Bulls or Catch 40 score - that should get you to Green Belt.

Yeah! It’s not a big deal really. I’m just stoked that I’m improving. I was ahead on my bobs27 until I missed everything from 16 to bull! Slid in 3 d5s and 3 d9s in that game and soon there after pffft!

Frustrated today. Had been off the 100@ for a while because I felt stuck again. Today in the first 51 I’m at 82! Good rhythm, strike feels long! Finish at 108 :(. Call me Mr. Halftime!

Haven't done this in a while and only got one warm up in today before work got in the way but you guys have been inspiring me and I'm throwing a little :D I can maintain around 100 without much effort so I am feeling the throw is settling down and today I was banging in some good runs while warming up with excellent follow through so we shall see if I can maintain that now )
